The Future of Work, Post COVID-19 - Video Replay

Once this is over, which it will be someday we know, we will certainly be entering a different world than we were in before. What will it look like? What new problems and opportunities will arise? How can we help shape the future to be better than the pre-Covid past?

On May 21st, we brought together a group of women leaders to discuss changes they see emerging and what they expect for the future of work.

Watch the full conversation here.

Here are a few key takeaways on what to expect in the future of work.

  • Businesses will continue to be challenged by emerging and short term legislation

  • People will be fearful to return to work and infect their households, and new legislation will emerge that will impact large and small businesses

  • Employees will demand more flexibility in their work schedules and styles

  • Shift work will become more common in white collar jobs

  • Companies will need to address diverse needs of their employees, including mental health and burnout

  • This shared experience will bring more empathy for the unique experiences and responsibilities of our colleagues and community
