Being a woman
What does being a woman mean to you? At last month's pop up, WOMYN, attendees share their perspective.
The ability to do what I want, when I want, how I want.
To be able to do what ever you want
Powerful ability to nurture, endure, and celebrate.
Being a woman means being it all!
What being a woman means to me is something that's ever-evolving. Right now, it means to not be afraid to embrace and freely share all of the characteristics and qualities that make me who I am. Characteristics that historically have been looked down on or deemed as "weak" and only reserved for a "woman" such as being nurturing or a hopeless romantic; or refusing to let go of the concept of selfless love because "you could get hurt." It is these characteristics that, when shared with say, men, unearth the same characteristics in them.

CONSTANTLY STRIVING TO SET MY OWN EXPECTATIONS & GOALS
People don't realize we are stronger than men.
We are the silent heroes that have let the men take the stage and take the credit for long enough.
Everything
Being able to connect in a deeper way to other people who have similar experiences in the world as I do!
